Steps for Advising

  1. Watch the DegreeWorks Advising videos below.
  2. Become familiar with the sequencing of the courses by reviewing the DPD Requirements Document.
  3. Create your academic plan in DegreeWorks.
  4. Sign up for an advising appointment. Check your crimson email for a welcome email from your advisor. This will give information on how to sign up for a time to meet via Zoom.
All advising appointments are in Central Standard Time.

General Education Requirements

Advising for Upper-Level Distance Learning Food and Nutrition Majors

Students starting the upper-level nutrition courses are assigned a faculty advisor. Students can view their assigned advisor at the top of DegreeWorks. Be sure to look for emails from your faculty advisor each semester with instructions on setting up a time to meet.
