I have a prior degree and want to be a Registered Dietitian. What are my options with UA Online?
DPD Only
This option is ideal for students that want to earn the DPD Verification Statement to be eligible to apply for dietetic internships. Students will enroll in the undergraduate Food and Nutrition major as a post-graduate to pursue this option. Students who select this option will also need to complete a master’s degree and supervised practice experience. More Info
MS+ DPD
This option allows students to complete earn both the DPD Verification Statement and MS in Human Nutrition. Most students will begin by enrolling in the undergraduate Food and Nutrition major to take any remaining prerequisite courses. Students who select this option will also need to complete a supervised practice experience. More Info
MS + DPD + Supervised Practice
MS + DPD + Dietetic Internship UA affiliates with dietetic internships across the country. Once students complete the DPD requirements, they can apply to these internships while finishing the master’s degree. Most students will begin by enrolling in the undergraduate Food and Nutrition major to take any remaining prerequisite courses. More Info
